Speaking practice

Today I was gave IELTS speaking test.Subject of the test is most memorable event in life.I think I was answer this quation very well,but I has done some grammatical mistakes at the time of test.In next test I will improve my self to achive good grade.Today at the time of speaking I used lots of my vocabulary thats why I fill very good after completion of my test.I also improve my listning skill and reading.I got 28 and 21 right answers respectivelly.Reading is very hard today thats why I think it is sufficient marks for such a type of reading at this moment.

Yesterday,I watch disscussion on TV about cctv is necessory or not in mumbai.It is very hot topic now a days in the INDIA.Lots of people argue with government officer about this topic.government officer said that the expenses for cctv is to much high but people diffence there side very well,by showing advantages of cctv to them.

In my point of view CCTV is very important in mumbai because it is commertial capital of the INDIA.

I think I am weak in a speaking than other things like my pronunciation is better , my vocabulary,reading,writing,listening of English is good.Mostly I found difficulties in listening when some one talking with me on pnone.To solve this problem I listen news on radio.

TOPIC SENTENCES AND THEIR SUPPORT IN A PARAGRAPH

A paragraph is a group of related sentences, which develop one main idea (the topic sentence). The topic sentence tends to be a general rather than a specific idea. The main idea of the topic sentence controls the rest of the paragraph. Usually it is the first sentence in the paragraph, but not necessarily. It may come after a transition sentence; it may even come at the end of a paragraph. Topic sentences are not the only way to organise a paragraph, and not all paragraphs need a topic sentence. For example, paragraphs that describe, narrate, or detail the steps in an experiment do not usually need topic sentences. They are useful, however, in paragraphs that analyse and argue. They are particularly useful for writers who have difficulty developing focused, unified paragraphs (i.e. writers who tend to waffle). Topic sentences help these writers develop a main idea for their paragraphs and most importantly stay focused. Topic sentences also help guide the reader through complex arguments. The supporting sentences in a paragraph develop the main idea expressed in the topic sentence and provide the detail such as facts and examples. When the topic sentence comes first, the supporting sentences answer the questions the reader will develop in their minds after reading the topic sentence. In this case, the last sentence (concluding sentence) can either return the reader to the topic at the beginning of the paragraph or act as a connection to link the information with that coming up in the next paragraph. When the topic sentence comes last, the supporting sentences build up arguments and examples to make a case for the main idea contained at the end. Useful Tip: No writer starts with a perfect paragraph. Well formed paragraphs are the result of drafting and revising, aimed at giving the reader a coherent piece of information. There is no set length to a paragraph, but in university essays it is easier to work with paragraphs that are between four and eight sentences long. I like this information about topic sentence and I think it is also help to all student at the time of paragraph writing.

about fridays lecture

Hi jim.fridays lecture(fighting of science with crime) was very interesting.It gives too much information about identification of fingerprint,DNA,face,iris and it was seriously very helped me at the time of seminar.I think it also help me at the time of my MSc.

yesterday,its really very good experiance for me because i was discuss very good topic in our seminar about mediya.It gives to much information about mediya in lots of country.I also discuss in deep about how mediya affects on childrens mind and  its impact on developement of violence in the world.It is very interesting topic.

ABOUT TELEVISION IN MY COUNTRY (HELEN HOME WORK)

In my country people spend more time infront of TV for watching a television program.Most of the people specially youngster attracted towards reality shows,but i think watching reality show is only wasteg of time because in my country this show are already planned for attracting people and increase TRP (television rate)of the programm.
In my country mostly mens watching a business channel because these channels provide 24 hours information about share market. Mainly womens watching a family programm in different channels(like star tv,sony tv,zee tv)these channels are very famous in my country.
For entertainig perpose cartoon channels mainly for children and sports channels are provided by government.In my country porn shots are strictly prohibited by censorship.
so i think in my county channels are divided into four group by people and its mainly age wise.
